Beady Eye special album

LONDON - *tabloid alert*. Liam Gallagher is abandoning Britpop on the new Beady Eye album.
The former Oasis man has been working with Tv On The Radio and Yeah Yeah Yeahs producer Dave Sitek.
He said: “I hate the word ‘experimenting’, but we are definitely experimenting “In five words, it’s ‘majestic’, ‘imperial’, ‘out there’ and, er, what was the other one? Oh yeah, ‘heavy’.
“It’s different to the first. It’s been heads down, none of that nonsense from the Nineties. We’ve got our shit together.”
Liam’s in bullish mood about his band’s second release, which is due out next year.
He added: “It feels like a really special album. You know when you normally go through a door and go, ‘Er, I’m not really sure about that’.
“Well, we’ve fucking booted the door off the hinges.”

Liam names cat after Noel

LONDON - Liam Gallagher, now busy recording Beady Eye new album, has named his cat “Lazy Our Kid” ahahahaha — a swipe at his warring big brother Noel, the lazy fuck, the scaredy cat.
The pair fell out when Oasis split in 2009. But there are signs the ice may be thawing. When asked what he thought of Noel referring to Liam’s new band Beady Eye as “Stratford’s finest tribute band” (which is nonsense, being 4/5 Oasis members, including the founder, frontman, singer and members that NOEL chose) following their performance at the Olympics closing ceremony, the singer said: “I thought that was pretty funny.
“Life's too short to get hung up on things like that.
“I had a great night and met a lot of people you don't normally meet. I met the Spice Girls, who were great.”
Liam admitted he even acknowledged Noel after the ceremony having later bumped into him.
He said: “I met our kid. That was nice. No, we didn't talk much. We had a nod and a wink."
Of course wee boy Noel said Liam insulted him.

As always, yellow cards are not given to Messi (in Milan-Barça in 2011, with a penalty and an own goal by Milan, he should have had a red card for a bad foul after he already got a yellow card). Puyol should've had a yellow card, Keita 3 yellow cards... of course Nesta yellow card immediately, and it wasn't even yellow but on the ball.
In Barcelona of course they had 2 other penalties, one in offside and a strange one... (the ball wasn't even played yet... as Mourinho said: that's not a penalty... When Milan made it 1-1, the referee said there was a lot of noise from the people, he was terrified Barcelona couldn't qualify and immediately conceded a strange penalty...
In so many games, Messi could score vs Italians only on penalty... if he played in Italy, he would be half the man we know.

The jinx Noel is back. In 2011 Liam was @ FA Cup final and City won it after 35 years. In 2012 Liam presented the new City shirt and City won the league after 44 years. Fake City fan Noel presented the 2012-13 shirt and I said: City won't win anything. Last ones from the jinx:

Vogue: Pretty Green @ London Collections

LONDON - Pretty Green Christmas tree :).
Liam Gallagher has joined the London Collections: Men line-up for autumn/winter 2013-14, showcasing the latest collection from his Pretty Green label. The move marks the first time the former Oasis frontman has shown interest in being part of the luxury fashion circuit.
Gallagher's most recent offering will be shown via a cinematic presentation on January 7, documenting the brand's history, held at The Arts Club in Mayfair. A number of mannequins will be dotted round the room for guests to view close-up. A catwalk show is planned for spring/summer 2014.
"We are delighted to be a part of the forthcoming LC: M event in January and this will be the first time we have participated," Pretty Green brand director Nigel Grant told us. "Our event will showcase our journey so far and preview the next autumn/winter 2013-14 collection. It's going to be a party with attitude reflecting the brands fusion of music and fashion."
Gallagher launched his Pretty Green fashion line in Milan in March 2009, which made an impressive £4 million turnover in the first year alone. He has since collaborated with Paul Weller and introduced a new accessories category.

new Beady Eye record will shock everyone

LONDON - The manager of Beady Eye, Quest's Scott Rodger, has said Liam Gallagher's new album could be the the best LP that the ex-Oasis man has ever recorded.
Rodger, who also manages the likes of Arcade Fire, Paul McCartney and Noah & the Whale, features in a four-page Big Interview in the new Music Week magazine.
Of all the albums on Quest’s roster, Rodger said he may be most enthused about the second record from Beady Eye – Liam Gallagher’s post-Oasis band, which also features Andy Bell and Gem Archer.
The group started recording the record in London last month with TV On The Radio guitarist and producer Dave Sitek, who has also worked behind the desk on albums from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Liars, CSS and Foals.
The currently unnamed album, the follow-up to 2011's Different Gear, Still Speeding, is due for release in the first half of 2013.
Explained Rodger: “It’s probably the most exciting record I’ve worked on for as long as I can remember. Everyone thinks they know exactly what record Beady Eye are going to deliver, but they’ve completely turned it on its head.
“I think Liam Gallagher is making the best album of his entire career. That’s a big statement because he’s made some classic records - usually with his brother’s songs. But Beady Eye are very talented players and writers and are technically fantastic.
“Gem Archer is an amazing engineer and producer. Both he and Andy Bell will produce records for other people at some point, I’m sure. They pretty much made the record this year in Gem’s studio in his basement. They were writing all year and did what a lot of bands do: they wrote about 9 or 10 songs and then said, ‘We’re ready to go with the album.’
“We encouraged them to keep writing until August or September and lo and behold, they wrote 21 songs – and some of the later songs were the best ones. Then we had to find a producer. We wanted to get someone in who’d take [the album] from a 7/10 to a 9/10.
“I was on a plane to New York for a best friend’s wedding thinking, ‘Who can I call?’. Then I thought of [TV On The Radio producer] Dave Sitek – who I associate with New York and great records. I sent him the demos and a link to the studio after being told he’d never leave his Los Angeles home. He gets straight back to me to say, ‘I’m there.’
“Now they’ve tracked 21 songs in 9 days [in London]. Sitek called at 6pm the other night to say, ‘I need a brass section [as Liam had anticipated]. Get me a brass section now.’ Everyone in the [Quest] building was calling to sort it for him, and we did – within two hours it was recorded. It was a track that was never going to make the album, but Sitek completely changed the vibe and now it’s an amazing song.
“They have a couple of songs that are just unbelievable, mind-blowing. Everyone’s going to be shocked when they hear this record. It’s not like anything Liam’s ever recorded before."

MILANO - Ma guarda quei furbacchioni interisti della Gazzetta dello Sport (tra l'altro, sponsor dell'Inter), il giornale più venduto in Italia... specchio dell'ignoranza-hooliganismo di questo paese. 
RCS Corriere della Sera, ufficio sinistri... Un paese da Terzo Mondo dove ti arrestano per un articolo... Altri che le combinano enormemente più grosse, hanno il meglio del meglio...
Questi invece hanno usato una parte di un mio video (Maria Sharapova a Milano), fin qui (quasi) niente di strano, visto che i video di YouTube possono essere integrati sui siti (potevano comunque chiedere il permesso o almeno citare la fonte), ma questo non è "integrato" da YouTube e gli hanno applicato l'etichetta "Gazzetta TV" come se fosse un loro video, e addirittura il senso della loro pubblicazione è come se fosse un loro "scoop esclusivo"...
cazzo fanno? gli espropri proletari?
Chiaramente non finisce qui... Polizia contattata.
E se ci mettiamo a usare le loro cose, mettendoci su un nostro marchio, e spacciandole per "scoop esclusivi"?

Liam & Pretty Green anti-fur

LONDON - Still speeding. Liam Gallagher is anti-fur. The former Oasis frontman's fashion label Pretty Green is completely free of animal fur, and the company has now joined animal rights charity PETA's list of fur-free fashion labels.
In an e-mail sent to PETA, Pretty Green's chief executive officer confirmed that the company has a strict no-fur policy and that it will now label any faux-fur trim on its garments.
"We are delighted to add Liam to the list of truly talented visionaries and trendsetters who are able to design stylish, fashionable and popular clothing without the use of fur," says PETA's Senior Programme Manager Yvonne Taylor.
Gallagher's a long proponent of animal rights. After reportedly signing up as the face of charity Pup Aid back in 2010 he told The Sun he'd be a crusader for dachshunds: "Extinction of sausage dogs? I will prevent that! When I’m back in England I am gonna buy 900 of them. I am gonna prevent them from downfall."
Liam's name is now on the list with other top designers who are against real fur, including Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Vivienne Westwood.

Of course, on the contrary, Noel Gallagher supports a new sport: throwing stuff at cows in Ireland.
He already received protests from Peta.

ROME - It's not even football. About what happened in Rome... (not the first time, it's always knives there, scum of Italy) ...well nowadays both nazis and communists hate the Jews, but this would never happen in Milan, totally different culture and background, historically welcoming foreign people.
I don't like Tottenham fans, when Milan went there, they didn't behave as British in the positive sense, booing and continuously protesting for ridiculous things.

Beady Eye 2nd album with surprising producer

LONDON - The crocodile can't wait to go out. Beady Eye, also known as Oasis without Noel Gallagher, are getting more ambitious on album two, which is best demonstrated in their choice of producers. The band won’t be collaborating with English Steve Lillywhite, instead, they’ve enlisted the services of the member of American indie rockers TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, closely associated with the New York scene of the early 2000s, that seems a surprisingly creative choice.
The producer is best known for his work with bands like Yeah Yeah Yeahs and CSS, along with rappers Wale and Santigold, which makes this pairing fascinating. Beady Eye or Oasis for that matter, rely on the foundation laid by classic rock and Britpop.
David Sitek's credits include 'It's Blitz' by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, 'Antidotes' by Foals and 'Anywhere I Lay My Head' by Scarlett Johansson, Icky Blossoms, Swedish electronic pop artist Lykke Li, and Usher.
Whether they will fully embrace Sitek's love of distorted post-punk guitars and glitchy electronics remains to be seen- but the choice has the potential to be a masterstroke.
Let's not forget that before his days as Oasis' bassist, Andy Bell was also the guitarist for immersive Oxford shoegazers, Ride - an area of expertise the band would do well to tap in to.
The announcement on the band’s website said the band started work with the producer and their new album will be released in 2013.

Finally, Noel Gallagher's Low Lying Turds die today. The "band that is not a band but will disband in November". R.I.P.
The second album he said he would have published in 2012 with the Amorphous Androgynous, of course wasn't published and will not be published.

Beady Eye are making a second album, while this same day the High Flying Birds disband. Noel failed his clear purpose (if you're not a blinded fan) : breaking America. 28th position in the chart, despite recording it in the USA, making USA style music, USA style videos, copying the band name from an USA band, copying lyrics from another USA band, using USA actresses, saying he wanna be the USA president, etc.

Pretty Green behind the scenes - part 2

AYNHO - After photographing the Spring/Summer campaign for Pretty Green it was great to get commissioned for the Autumn/Winter season too. The shoot was over 2 days at the amazing Aynhoe Park in Oxforshire, this venue was a photographers dream with so many areas to shoot, had the maddest interior and some crazy props everywhere e.g stuffed full size lions, giraffes, polar bears, snakes (I hate snakes) with so much more (kept finding things).
On the first day we shot the video for the campaign, I was there to shoot images of the models in between takes and capture behind the scenes of the whole shoot, whist they were filming. Day two we just has a small crew and used Tom, one of the models to shoot the look book around the grounds of the house.
The new season is based on the Rolling Stones infamous album 'Exile On Main Street'. The label draws on the theme and tunes into some of the key elements that embodied the ethos of those heady days back in 1971.
Really happy how everything came out. The actual printed lookbook is like an old double gatefold record LP cover, with one side being the campaign book and the other the lookbook and I have included some screen grabs from the PG site also, to show how its been marketed.
Also last week I went to Birmingham to shoot Pretty Green's new store. They had lots of displays and point of sales from the shoot too, which looked great.

Filmed on location at Aynhoe Park (near Banbury), a spectacular country house in The Cotswolds, the film captures the mood of this season collection.
It might look like everyone was just having fun (which we were!) but there was a lot of hard work involved too. Over 2 days the team worked their magic to transform this eccentric British country house into the backdrop for the ‘Exile on Main Street’ inspired collection. Liam was on hand too, checking each stage of the filming, as you can see in our exclusive film, in addition to making a cameo appearance.

WASHINGTON - Breaking news. Obama? Romney?
Americans, (or as Noel says: "idiots, fat fucks working @ McDonald's"), Ladies and gentlemen, unfortunately we have to announce "with some sadness and great relief", that Noel Gallagher did not win... he finished 28th. 
He won't be the new American president as he wanted and said, one of the ways to promote his disappointing American solo album (28th in the USA, despite his licking effort, being recorded in the USA, with USA style music, USA style videos, USA actresses, band name copied from an USA band, lyrics copied from another USA band, etc.).
"God" was not enough for him, he wanted more.
But nothing new, usually he wins only when the people can't vote for him (as the Nme Godlike Genius award).
Wondering why he didn't win... it must be because the media tend to forget him, LOL.
The people should have voted for him: voting for change, no more Oasis "not even for starving children"...
He wanted to be "the new Obama" (always repeating "fuck off socialism..."), after supporting the war in Iraq in 2003, death penalty (September 2008), insulting communists, Greens, pacifists, rebels, Americans, Australians, English, Chinese, etc.
Such a shame, 'cause he was ready to be a politician: telling so many lies and "interested in money only" despite being "already rich", as he said, he would have been a great politician because already rich and according to him only rich politicians like his idol Berlusconi are good.
He would have also blamed all the people, never himself for anything, he's just perfect.

Have you noticed how many times Noel talks about the issue "no Oasis reunion"? too many times... His blinded fans say that it's because they ask him too many times... oh really? nah, they didn't understand anything about him being a media darling... he WANTS to be asked about that... They didn't even ask themselves WHY the people ask him...

MILAN - It still feels like summer. The city of what would have been Oasis' last gig in history (but bastard Noel Gallagher left the band for the 3rd time, 2 days before the concert, as a proper twat), @ Expo 2015 place, before the "5 year break", as he said... (worst fan Noel said he wouldn't reform Oasis "not even for starving children", but even before breaking up, the double-faced man already knew there will be a reunion... as the multi multi-millionare Noel always said, he's "too interested in money only"...).
Also, the city of Beady Eye first gig without scaredy cat Noel (2000), leaving the band for the 2nd time (selling his soul to the illuminati for the 2nd time, 'cause the man... etc).
Also, the city where Pretty Green was started (one of the excuses why Oasis split, according to the liar Noel).
Also, the city where the mod Lambretta comes from (also a red & black one on Be Here Now, owned by the little bitch Noel, the parasite), name from Milan river Lambro.
This is Corso Como District, the new zone under construction of our historic club Hollywood Milano (Liam was there in 2008 to launch Dig Out Your Soul, with Andy... of course uncool Noel never... 'cause it's a too cool zone). Liam was also @ Just Cavalli in 2011 with Beady Eye, and @ Shed. And always @ Como lake, legendary place in Italian culture (the Betrothed).
These buildings are impressive to see here, 'cause Italy is not a country of skyscrapers, even if there are great architects as Renzo Piano (e.g. London's Shard). The square is by Argentinian of Italian origins César Pelli. 
The main skyscraper is the tallest one in Italy.

Liam @ Rolling Stones' Crossfire Hurricane

LONDON - One of rock's more modern icons, Liam Gallagher hit the red carpet, and when speaking to red carpet presenter Lauren Laverne he was full of praise, saying: "If it weren't for the Beatles and The Stones there'd be no point in living."
The former Oasis frontman also expressed a desire to still be performing at The Stones' age, and adding that if you look cool you should "crack on with it".
The Rolling Stones turned Leicester Square into a Rock and Roll circus as they attended the premiere of 'Crossfire Hurricane', a documentary on their 50 years as rock's biggest and baddest bands.
The band recently announced that they would be playing a bout of new gigs, as well as new songs, and even if the stars were not quite the wild horses of their youth they seemed to have some of the spriteliness that has made their live shows a must see for half a century, laughing and joking on the red carpet.
The movie, directed by Brett Morgan, charts their rise from the early days of the late Brian Jones and hits such as 'Time Is On My Side' through their emergence alongside The Beatles as the defining bands of the 60s into the rock superstars they've become, chronicling the bad behaviour and great music through interviews and archive footage.
On the new gigs Sir Mick Jagger was upbeat, saying that rehearsals "are going really well, we've done loads of songs, playing well, everyone's playing really good".
When asked whether he needed his memory jogging about the old days he said that he "remembered everything".
Keith Richards was also in good spirits, joking about his hard life in rock and roll in his famous drawl that he was "only 38", and saying that he had "no regrets and that it was "so far so good".
After being quizzed as to whether he was comfortable with having Jagger responsible for telling The Stones' story (Sir Mick produced the new film), he was in typically irreverent mood, saying: "I thought I was telling him his story, I mean you got it all wrong."
Also taking time out from her time on Strictly Come Dancing was Sir Mick's ex-wife Jerry Hall, who revealed she'd be dancing the Paso Doble to 'Paint It Black' next week on the dance show, while 'The King's Speech' star Colin Firth also strolled the red carpet.

The Rolling Stones enjoyed the London Film Festival after-party for their documentary Crossfire Hurricane at Mayfair restaurant Quaglino’s.

seem to have lost their staying power.

Liam Gallagher, 40, there with wife Nicole Appleton, said he’s going to stay a rocker in his 60s too, insisting: “If you’ve still got a head of hair, rock on.”

MILAN - I was right also about Del Piero refusing NOEL Gallagher's Manchester City (it was Noel asking him to join them), not Liam as all the media wrote. When there's something negative, for the media it's always Liam eh... as always, they USE him to talk shit of a person they don't know personally. It's useful for them Liam being bad, arrogant, etc. when he isn't really, the idiot is clearly NOEL... if you can't recognise, well you're a retard, one of typical blinded fans. 

Beautiful sunshine in Milan (while in jealous Rome, accusing "foggy" Milan, they're struggling against floods), Mario Balotelli back in Milano, here arriving @ Stazione Centrale (everybody wanted to see him, with headphones in fuchsia colour), for the first time playing (tonight vs "Danmark") since Inter times, when Inter fans insulted him, BEFORE he threw the Inter shirt (Noel's arrogant idol Mourinho too: shouting "son of a bitch"). Someday he will join his favourite club, AC Milan, best club in history.

Just this day (17 October) @ cinema, the live from London 2007 (never shown before), the unique reunion for the most requested concert in music history (20 millions) of the best band in history. Pretty Green has shown the Spring/Summer 2013 collection at New York’s Nolcha fashion week. It’s the first time a collection has been previewed in New York and there was great excitement and interest in the range, as it went down a storm with the US audience.
Nolcha fashion week is a key date in the fashion calendar for designers and brands alike, as it’s an important way to showcase collections to the US market. Over the past five years Nolcha Fashion Week has established itself as a platform for promoting innovative fashion designers through runway shows and exhibition during New York Fashion Week.
As a young British brand it was fantastic to be a part of Nolcha and to get such an exceptional response, we’ll look forward to being involved again.

I would even raise the price, to be a top brand like Italian fashion, so only a very few people could afford it.

Impossibile evitare arbitri della stessa città dei giocatori, ma almeno dei due allenatori, si dovrebbe e potrebbe fare, con tutti gli arbitri (di merda) che ci sono. Lo stesso a livello internazionale, scartare arbitri della stessa nazionalità degli allenatori, ricordiamo Mourinho portoghese come l'arbitro (pure suo amico e socio) di Inter-Barcelona, una delle tante rubate nella Champions 2010.

Zani: AC Milan 87/88, birth of a dynasty

MILAN - Dedicated to the memory of Alessandro, from our school times. Those in Italy were the best leagues of all time, with the best players in the world. 
Berlusconi then became the most winning president in history and his AC Milan the most successful club in history.

When media mogul Silvio Berlusconi (Noel Gallagher "only a rich politician is a good politician" was in a film produced by "zio Silvio", about Italian Manchester City Blue Moon) took control of AC Milan in the spring of 1986, the team had not won a Scudetto since 1979 and had gone through its worst period in history by being relegated twice in the previous five years (for Match Fixing Scandal as well as sporting reasons). The previous President, Giuseppe Farina, had fled to South Africa amid the scandals. Berlusconi came with a grand vision of winning trophies and titles. The team was still being managed by Swedish veteran Nils Liedholm. The team already contained a backbone of Italian players who had played together for years. The defence was already being led by Captain and standard-bearer Franco Baresi, supported by Mauro Tassotti, Filippo Galli and a teenage Paolo Maldini (Pretty Green fan, friends with Liam). Midfielder Alberigo Evani as well as veteran striker Pietro-Paolo Virdis were mainstays for many seasons now. The foreign players on the books were the English pair of Mark Hateley (Pretty Green fan supporting Liam, scoring a goal with a header we'll never forget @ derby in 1984) and Ray Wilkins.
Berlusconi made a number of key signings for his first full season at the helm (1986/87). He offloaded a fading Paolo Rossi (winning the World Cup with Italy in 1982, some of our best football memories) and signed Verona's Giuseppe Galderisi as striker. He signed midfielder Roberto Donadoni from Atalanta to strengthen the midfield. From Fiorentina, National Team goalkeeper Giovanni Galli and striker Daniele Massaro came on board. Argentina's new wonder boy Claudio Borghi was signed from Argentinos Juniors in frame to be integrated in the next few years. Berlusconi had already set his sights on the Dutch duo of Ruud Gullit and Marco Van Basten, who many predicted a brilliant future.
That first season was saved with a UEFA Cup Play-off victory over Sampdoria. By then Liedholm had been relieved of his duties and replaced with Fabio Capello for the decisive last few weeks of the season. Capello secured the qualification and then stepped aside and took a position in Berlusconi's Finnivest Empire. For the following season (1987/88), Berlusconi made more personnel changes. Besides Gullit and Van Basten, battle hardened midfielder Carlo Ancelotti was signed from AS Roma. The English pair (struggling in the difficult Italian league) of Hateley and Wilkins departed to the french League to Monaco and Paris St Germain respectively. While Galderisi also departed after a solitary season. Berlusconi's most important and unconventional decision was on the choice of manager. He had been impressed with Arrigo Sacchi, then an unknown manager at Parma. He was mostly impressed with Sacchi's non-traditional (by Italian standards) attacking style of play. Italy's League was still entrenched in the defensive Catenaccio culture and low or no scoring games.
Sacchi openly preached an open attacking and pressing game. He preferred zonal marking to the traditional man-to-man marking so prevalent in Italy. Berlusconi saw in him as the ideal manager to lead his new Milan, despite his lack of top-level experience, and in his case a non-existent playing career. It took some time for this new Milan to click, as Van Basten was injured early in the season and would miss a majority of it. Gullit was simply sensational and took to the Serie A with ease in contrast to Juventus' Ian Rush who was completely struggling in his first season. For the early parts of the season, Milan was under the radar as Maradona's Napoli, the defending Champions, was seemingly running away with the title. When the two sides met in Milan in early January, AC Milan made their intentions clear by soundly defeating Napoli 4 to 1. From that point on, Milan went from win to win and reduced the deficit with Napoli with every passing week.
By the spring of 1988, Franco Baresi and midfielders Roberto Donadoni and Carlo Ancelotti were mainstays of the Italian National team. Nineteen-year-old Paolo Maldini also made his national team debut and kept his place for over a decade. Napoli was slowly imploding due to internal troubles. With three matches remaining, Napoli and AC Milan met at Naples with Milan right on their heels. By now van Basten had been back in the team for a few weeks, but clearly was not match fit enough to start. With Gullit in inspired form, Milan defeated Napoli 3 to 2, with even substitute Van Basten scoring, and overtook Napoli at the top of the table. Milan held on for the two remaining matches and won the League title for the first time in almost a decade, by playing a mindset of attack in the best form of defence attitude. 

AC Milan went on to win countless trophies domestically and in Europe for the next two decades and more. Paolo Maldini retired in 2009 as the last holdout of this era.
This first title was the catalyst for seven Scudettos and five Champions League trophies. Most importantly it changed the mentality of Italian soccer, as it slowly drifted away from Catenaccio. It paved the way for other attack minded managers such as Zdenek Zeman and Nevio Scala to take centre stage. For the past two decades, the Italian League has been a higher scoring League and this can be traced to this historic title.

LONDON - Racism, daily problem in Great Britain, as confirmed in the best book about Oasis by Paolo. They sound schizophrenic and see racism in everything. Here are other confirmations about Asseanal fans being the worst ones.

Badges displaying antisemitic slogans were sold at a stall outside the Emirates Football stadium, the north London home of Arsenal football club, during the match against Southampton last Saturday afternoon.
The offensive badges, which stated “Fuck off Yids”, were being sold by two men on the corner of Elfort Road, Islington.
A complainant reported this to uniformed officers at a nearby police van, but said the three officers were “not interested” and told him to register his upset by calling the general 101 number.
“I told them they had the power to arrest people selling the badges and close down the stall as it was a racially aggravated public order offence — but the officer wasn’t interested and wouldn’t accept that it was offensive.
“Even though I said that the Yids bit was clearly racist, one officer said that the CPS would have no interest in the report.

A man was arrested on suspicion of a racially-aggravated public-order offence during a Premier League match.
The 29-year-old was held in connection with an incident at Arsenal's match against Newcastle.
The club carried out an internal investigation following reports that an individual had been caught on Sky Sports' live television coverage of the match at Emirates Stadium abusing Newcastle's Cheick Tiote.
A club statement confirmed: 'Following an incident during our home Premier League match against Newcastle United, a 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a racially-aggravated public-order offence.
'The suspect has been interviewed and bailed to return to Islington police station.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: 'Metropolitan Police officers today arrested a 29-year-old man at an address in Ilford on suspicion of a racially-aggravated public-order offence.
'He was taken to a north London police station where he was subsequently bailed'.

Liam: Blur? they were London pansies

LONDON - Noel Gallagher wished them to "catch AIDS and die".
Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher says he 'hated' them at the time – but insists it was really 'just good fun'. Noel's joke wasn't really funny. Oh but according to his fans, he's hilarious. They must have have a strange sense of humour (in Italian "ridere per una merda di gallina" = laughing for a hen's shit), appropriate for little brains.
Liam has spoken out about the fierce rivalry his old band Oasis used to have with Blur.
The feud between the two bands helped make Britpop into a national obsession and originated in the magazine's pages but Liam said that although had previously "hated" Damon Albarn and co, the war-of-words they exchanged in the media had been "just good fun".
When asked whether he thought the rivalry between the two bands had been manipulated by the music press, he replied: "I don't think so. At the time I hated Blur, I thought they were just pansies from London and we were a totally different thing. You might have done certain things, but no-one told me whether I liked someone or not. I thought it was just all good fun."

Noel Gallagher is seriously the most pathetic old man ever seen.
I don't know how many people can find him "cool"... they must be really uncool.
The people don't listen (classic) to all the bullshit he says, or they would realise. Or they're dumb (that's more probable...)
He's always repeating the same things, no Oasis reunion not even for starving children, etc. (there's surely a purpose in that...)

When Liam was about to sue him, Noel finally shut up, as a scaredy cat. Now that some months have passed and his mum saved his ass, he's starting again with that. And he even said: oh where's the world going... (with people as him, it's doing very bad...)
If he was wise, he'd stop with all those stories and would go on (aka what a LIE, aka get a life...)
And he's even moaning because they always ask him about the reunion... oh boy, you were the first one talking about it, even before Oasis split up... and last year again the first one, you media darling...
He's 100% jealous of Beady Eye, they're always on his mind and sounds like he mocks them. What's the best band in the world at the moment according to him? he's not saying that. Maybe his "band"? yes, for a circus of clowns...
The "band that is not a band but will disband in November"... luckily next month.

Beady Eye writing the 2nd album

LONDON - Lazy fuck Noel Gallagher of course didn't publish the 2nd album he said he would have published in 2012, and even said there won't be a 2nd album, he's going to disband the Low Lying Turds in November and retire soon (another way to sell his album made of old songs).
Whisper it quietly but Andy Bell is fast approaching his twenty-fifth year as a recording artist. Having formed Ride in 1988 with childhood friend from school Mark Gardener, plus Steve Querelt and Loz Colbert who they met on an art foundation course at college, Bell and colleagues were responsible for creating arguably some of the most groundbreaking records from that era.
Their first four EPs and debut long player Nowhere still stand proud as flawless artefacts, while 1992's follow-up Going Blank Again (recently reissued to commemorate its twentieth anniversary) highlighted the band's development from being part of the then-lambasted shoegaze scene into genuine innovators of some repute. Sadly, as with all good things, it wasn't long before Ride fell apart and just two albums and four years later, it was all over.
After Ride's demise, Bell formed Hurricane #1 in 1997 at the height of Britpop, releasing a handful of relatively successful singles along with two albums. Nevertheless, critical acclaim proved hard to come by, mainly because of their similarity to Oasis, so it was perhaps no surprise that Bell's next musical venture would be to join the Gallaghers as bassist, following the departure of Paul McGuigan in 1999. He continued to play with Oasis right up until the brothers' acrimonious split a decade later, contributing to the band's final three albums.
Now, having formed Beady Eye with fellow former Oasis members Gem Archer, Chris Sharrock and of course, Liam Gallagher, Bell finds himself in the studio once more, demoing material for his current outfit's projected second record, the as-yet untitled follow-up to last year's Different Gear, Still Speeding. During an extended break, the discussion switched from the making of both Nowhere and Going Blank Again, to his disillusionment with music after disbanding Hurricane #1, to working with the Gallaghers and the questions everyone keeps asking; will Ride and Oasis ever reform and take to the stage one more time.

What are you up to at present and how are the new songs shaping up?

We're still at the writing stage and then recording a few demos from what we have. We've been making demos for pretty much the whole of this year. It's always good to have far too much music before going into the studio and beginning the actual recording process.

Are you heavily involved in the writing process with Beady Eye?

Me, Liam (Gallagher) and Gem (Archer) are all equal partners when we're writing, which means we all get to make sure none of us has a song that sounds too much like "me" - in the collective sense of the word. It's a good way of working because it means none of us have our individual stamp on anything we do. It's all about what's best for Beady Eye.

You've recently started incorporating Oasis songs into your live set with Beady Eye. Is this something you intend to do on a regular basis for the foreseeable future?

I'd say it's something we'll definitely do again, yes. The reason we didn't play Oasis material from the outset was because we wanted Beady Eye to create its own identity. So when we started touring around the world we wanted to get everyone that came to our shows used to the idea that we are a new band, and not just a continuation of the old one, even though when you come and see Beady Eye we look pretty much like Oasis on stage. Except Noel's (Gallagher) not there.

Are you pleased with how everything's turned out for Beady Eye so far?

Yeah, it's been cool.

Some people probably don't realise or might not be aware that you've been a recording artist now for almost a quarter of a century. How does that make you feel?

Old! But yeah, it is quite mad. Twenty years is a long time. We put out the twentieth anniversary edition of Nowhere at the start of last year and now we've just done the same thing with Going Blank Again. Thinking back from Nowhere, twenty years before that it was the end of the sixties, 1970 I think. To be the same difference from that with Nowhere and then again to now kind of puts it all into perspective. You think about how young rock and roll music really is. It's not like we're a million miles away from the creation of the (rock and roll) big band era. We're still seeing the reverberations of that happening. The music world keeps changing in a massive way. When you see the internet and think how music's changed in the last ten years, some of it in ways you'd never previously have imagined. That time has gone very fast.

I also remember even at your early shows you seemed to attract a large female following, which was quite unusual for guitar bands at that time. Did it ever occur to you that Ride would become poster boys of the indie scene back then?

I don't know really. I guess that was Mark (Gardener), he was the pin-up of the indie world back then! It wasn't something I thought about that much. What I thought you were going to say was there were a lot of Japanese kids at our early shows, because I remember there being loads of them at our gigs. The Japanese do tend to pick up on things really early. Liam and Noel said the same thing happened with Oasis. The first hardcore followings they got were with Japanese crowds.

It's interesting you say that as there is quite a vibrant Japanese scene at present that's seemingly in thrall to a late of late eighties and early nineties UK bands.

The Japanese love shoegazing! And so do the Americans. I never realised what an effect the '91 and '92 American tours had. At the time we just treated it as another tour, yet now it seems like that kind of music has gone on to become so loved in America. Except that love wasn't shown for a good five to ten years afterwards. And then suddenly I'd be going over there with Oasis to play and people would be coming up to me saying, "Forget Oasis, I'm into shoegazing!"

After Hurricane #1 finished, you then got asked to join Oasis, who were arguably the biggest band in the UK and possibly the world at that moment in time. Was it quite a daunting experience at first?

No, I wouldn't call it daunting. Hurricane #1 kind of finished in a... It was never really right, that band. It was basically just me trying to keep busy. When I started the second album, I hit a pretty big writer's block that I'd been fighting for a while. I managed to finish the record but it seemed like too much hard work to carry on. I didn't really want to if I'm honest. I think at that point I'd lost all impetus as a songwriter, so I quit the band and moved to Sweden. We'd just had a child as well, my first daughter, and at that point I kind of retired from music. That was me done, aged 29. I'd given all my guitars away and had no intention of making music again, when a call came through from an old friend of mine that worked in the Oasis office. She told me I was about to get a call from Noel Gallagher asking if I wanted to join the band, and sure enough half an hour later he's on the phone asking if I want to play bass with them. I decided to fly back to England and meet them, still not really knowing what I wanted to do. But then when I met them we instantly bonded and felt at home so decided to give it a go.

How did working with Noel and Liam compare with what you'd been used to in the past? Did it seem strange going from being the main songwriter and focal point with both Ride and Hurricane #1 to being the bass player in what was essentially their band?

Working with the Gallaghers was brilliant. They're both very different yet in some ways quite similar, and also very appreciative for what I was bringing to their band. I wasn't bringing much other than playing bass on their songs to start with, but they knew and liked what I'd done before.

Your arrival seemed to coincide with the band releasing possibly their best two records since Definitely Maybe and (What's The Story) Morning Glory inHeathen Chemistry and Don't Believe The Truth.

I'm a big fan of Don't Believe The Truth. It was definitely the best record Oasis made during the time I was with them.

Do you ever see Noel and Liam burying their differences, reforming Oasis and working together again?

I'd love it to happen. I think that life's too short for it not to happen. But, in reality, do I see it happening? At this point, no I don't. The matter rests entirely with the two brothers. It probably should happen at some point but if they can't make it happen, no one should force them to.

Obviously when Oasis split up, Noel went his own way and the rest of you formed Beady Eye. What made you choose to work with Liam rather than Noel? Was it something that just fell into place?

It just fell into place like that really. When Mark decided to leave we initially thought about carrying on. But because it had been the original four, and then it would have been three, we just felt it would have been impossible to carry it on. But then who knows what would have happened in a parallel universe? We could have just carried on with what we were doing and wait to see if Mark came back but that never happens. You tend to make snap decisions in the moment of crisis I guess, and then you have to live with them. Your life is then laid out in a certain way as a result. That's what happens; in certain times of your life you have to go with one big choice or the other.

I guess it's better to look forwards rather than keep wondering what might have been.

The brave choice is always go forward.

Bearing in mind the obvious impact of Ride's music today, I guess the final question has to be do you ever see the four of you getting back together and playing one more time?

Well, never say never. We're good friends now. We get together once a year and just have a few pints and whatever. We're all pretty busy with what we're doing, but personally, it would be a shame if we never got to play those songs one more time.

At a 1997 gig after the first chord of 'Be here now' I was literally flying, gone fuckin' mad fer it, continuously shouting and jumping embraced with all the people. Best fun of my life.
