MILAN - He was crying with his mates in Milanello after the last training session, as you can see at the end of this video. Famous for his free kicks, assists and goals from long distance, Andrea Pirlo left Italian champions AC Milan to join Juventus. The 32-year-old has called time on his San Siro career after spending 10 glittering seasons with the club. Brazilians called him the Italian with Brazilian feet (even if Italy always has some with this kind of feet).
He said: "It's a mutual decision, I've had 10 unforgettable years here." AC Milan decided to let him go 'cause we are playing in a different way now, more physical, and he was having injuries the whole year. When legend Kakà had just little injuries, we sold him to Real Madrid for a big price and he didn't do anything there. Juventus, be careful, lol.
AC Manager Max Allegri said another big player is coming in his place.
After joining from rivals Inter Milan letting him go when still young (classic mistake by Inter :), it will happen the same with Balotelli), Pirlo went on to win 9 major honours with Milan, including 2 Serie A titles, 2 Champions League crowns, a Club World Cup and a Coppa Italia.
He also played a key role in Italy's World Cup success, forming an excellent central midfield partnership alongside Milan team-mate Gennaro Gattuso.
