MILAN, BRAZIL - I'm talking about stars. "I live my life for the stars that shine"... Breaking news, last day of summer transfers. Mad genius Robinho, Brazil captain, just landed in Milan, Brazilian sun, from Manchester City, saying he's very happy and can't wait to play with our Brazilian stars. While he's here, talking about his new experience in Milan (days ago he said he wanted to play in Italy), some English tabloids are writing, right now, that he's gonna play for some unknown English team I never heard, stealing Robinho "under Milan's nose" (!). This is again and again the umpteenth confirmation of the quantity of bullshit said by tabloids. Probably they were fooling him around, and Man City, with jokes for idiots. We'll laugh at the end, it's a better laugh...
Meanwhile, Marco Borriello refused Juventus loan offer, Liverpool were intereste in him but my curse on them is still valid and he joined Roma.

SAINT COLUMBAN-UPON-LAMBRO - Again about the last days of Oasis last year. I was in this same place as now.
Today I found again that kind of butterfly announcing the end of Oasis to me, the same kind of their last album. Today there were even 3 together... strange sign.
Exactly 1 year ago, Oasis would have performed their last concert ever, of course here in Milan.
If you think about the history of music, you could find many album covers, many images with mysterious photos, meaning something strange, etc. Exampli gratia :), some of the Beatles or Led Zeppelin, some people even said they adored the devil.
And in many Oasis albums it was the same, a sort of curse, a kind of destiny: for example, the image of New York City, Manhattan, with the Twin Towers on the background (Standing on the shoulder of giants) 1 year before September 11, and the same background on a single cd (Sunday Morning Call) with a meaningful fallen glass, or the pier of Weston-super-Mare (Roll with it) that was then burnt, the London music shop (What's whe story morning glory) then going into administration, George Best (Definitely Maybe) who then died, and so on. Sometimes it seems as though Oasis already knew the future, or at least it's good to think this way :), so they had to put it on a cover. It would be easy to say "those facts had to happen", they're not so common and those coincidences are strange.
And on the last album (Dig out your soul), the image was mysterious but then meaningful at the same time: an atomic bomb, as though they knew it would have been the last album, and also this enigmatic butterfly, it seems to have eyes on the wings... Beady Eyes...

England is good at making rockstars

LONDON - Funnyman Ricky Gervais has praised rockers Richard Ashcroft and Liam Gallagher for giving him inspiration for one of his films.
During a Q&A at the Soho Hotel in London for the DVD release of Cemetery Junction, directors Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant admitted Liam, 38 years old on 21 September, and Richard, 39 on 11 September, were the inspirations behind the comedy-drama.
Gervais, 49, found that actors fell into two categories, half that play society types and half that play violent wife-beating roles.
But the Extras star worked with Stephen to make their characters different and more like rock stars.
He said: 'We didn't want it to be one those really gritty 'isn't England a bit depressing and crap and normal' films.
'We wanted it to be a bit more glorious and evoke those possibly false memories of every day being sunny and brilliant and fun, that's how I remember my childhood.'
Ricky added: 'We cast about a thousand people to try and find these Jimmy Deans and John Travoltas - half of them will be Mr Darcy one day, and the other half will be going, 'You fucking slags.'
'So we had to look to our rock stars like Richard Ashcroft and Liam Gallagher, that's where we rule the world.'
Stephen added: 'This country's always been very good at making rock stars, and rock stars are unashamedly cool but somehow British films are less like that, it's like we're a little bit more embarrassed to be like that.
'We need to be self-conscious and make things seem gloomier and grittier but that wasn't my experience of growing up, everything seemed very cool to me.'

I agree about England being good in music :), and also in literature and politics. It seems that the rainy weather has something to do with these activies :), they convey a certain difficulty: I mean, for example, the bad mood from depressing weather and places, is perfect to become an angry rockstar :), or a desperate romantic poet :), that is also what happened to Oasis, living their youth in a difficult place as Manchester (suburbs).

Robinho @ Milan, Man City asking Marco Borriello. Berlusconi, live forever mate :)

MILAN - Not only Juventus and now Roma, also Manchester City want Milan striker Marco Borriello (girls love him because he's good looking :), I know his cousin. He's not great as Robinho (photo) but not crazy as Robinho :).
Milan have almost signed Robinho, bought by City from Real Madrid. Milan staff's Braida was recently in Manchester, and Robinho will be in Milan tomorrow!!
This morning Ibra had his medical in Gallarate, Robinho the same tomorrow. Meanwhile, communists are saying a lot of bullshit against Berlusconi, as usual. Same treatment as for Capello by English tabloids, as they often attack also Berlusconi without knowing anything. Doing something = idiot, doing the contrary = idiot anyway. Berlusconi not buying players = idiot. Buying players = idiot. What they're able to do: only talking shit of everything, being negative about everything in life. Even worse: now they're continuously repeating he's buying players because of the elections (!?) and they accepted because he's a "mafioso". How ridiculous. Can you imagine, Inter fans, Juventus fans, etc. voting Berlusconi because he bought a couple of champions for Ac Milan? Nonsense. They would NOT vote him. But many fans are intelligent enough to separate football from politics.
To me, it all makes sense, and Berlusconi is a pure genius, I see in the end he's always right, everything he does, it's all calculated with perfect strategies. Now Milan balance is all right, they also saved money, and having found the possibility to sign a couple of great players who deserve to join the best team, now they're getting them. Milan fans who were VERY angry with Berlusconi, now they love him again. I never lost my unshakeable faith in Him :), always supporting the team He made the most winning one in history.
Noel Gallagher, in the video on the right column when he spoke about politics, and "more police on the streets", etc., said that a good politician is a rich one. As Oasis song, "Stay young" Berlusconi irresitible and unstoppable :), as he often says: he's invincible.

SAINT COLUMBAN-UPON-LAMBRO - My little review of this great match :) yesterday. Language: funny Milan dialect ahahaha (quite similar to Catalan) from the countryside zone around. It seemed Barcelona-Milan ^_^ as last Wednesday, very similar shirts. The stadium was full :), and there were even the wags ^_^, wives and girlfriends.
By the way, Catalan: from 22 September in Milan (fashion week), also an art show about Dalì.

great start, 4-0... with Ibra: 8-0 :). Milan on Man City's Robinho

MILAN - Great sports day. Hamilton winning and leading again, unfortunately Button out thanks to the usual German cunt, Manchester City (without Balotelli, who also had a car accident) unfortunately losing 1-0 at the end of the match with a penalty, but Serie A started, Milan winning 4-0 without Ibra, presented to the fans tonight at the stadium, on a red carpet. He said "we're gonna win everything". He always has a very Oasis attitude :), he's very rude but now he's smiling a lot, never seen him smiling so much as today in the interviews.
At first it was him wanting to come here, and not the contrary, in fact he even accepted less money, and it's a real bargain for Milan, the best bargain in the world in 5 or more years, if you also consider the huge quantity of money and players that Barcelona spent to have him. And in Italy he's got a great reputation, not as in England.
It's more than a rumour, Milan are trying to buy also Robinho, as he's not playing at Manchester City, and he said he's gonna play in Italy or Spain (let's see if it's the same as Joe Cole going to play "only abroad"... Liverpool, abroad), but Robinho refused Turkey and Greece, let's see if he's coming here now or in January. I think he's a superb player, sometimes even more than Ibra.

please stop the "phenomenal" German Vettel

SPA - I'd like to know where all the people speaking about a "wonder boy" called Vettel have gone. Wonder? Disaster. He's not able to do the main thing in this sport: overtake. Weeks ago, he tried to overtake his team mate, but for Vettel the verb "to overtake" = "to hit" the other car on its side, that is a nonsense, it really seems he wants to hit it, to put it outside the race. The same today, against the English Button. So he was punished with a "drive-through", but he should be somehow disqualified for the next race here in Italy, with a penalty. And then, as justice strikes again, he had another accident with the Italian Liuzzi near the pit lane, but Vettel was late and he had to drive a whole lap without a tyre. In Milan dialect we say: San Giuàn fà minga ingàn. Saint John, no deception :)
Hamilton risked a lot (he reminded me of Schumacher when he used to win risking), I think he didn't pay enough attention when he was speaking on the radio, but at the end he won and now he's first again in the championship. After a difficult first part of the season, he deserves to be world champion again. He's the biggest talent, in fact he was the youngest world champion.
Come on McLaren lads, we wait for you in Milan in two weeks. There'll be also a "walk about" where we can meet them. Today on Italian tv there was Jenson and Jessica at the computer, saying "say ciao" :)

So, I wrote enough about this day one year ago today (a flashbax here), while I was sunbathing, the sunset of Oasis in the afternoon, “there’s a feeling I get, when I look to the West”, waiting for them for their last gig ever, of course here. Fuckin’ Paris. I received the news of the split from Alan. The "not yellow but black" submarine I see from my windows towards the West, the sunset I see everday since I was a child.
Now, another ladybird of luck came to me, but this time I didn’t beat it on my sideburn as I did, leaving Oasis half-dead. Just entered my room and it was a very big one, never seen a bigger one, it’s a good sign of an abundant future for the Gallaghers. Haters keep on going greener and greener.
And as you can see, now the butterfly around me is different from that one last year today, those ones on the last album.
There were 3 butterflies now, 2 orange as this, and one similar to that “peacock” one on the orange Dig out your soul…

E’ stato detto molto della costante ostilità che sembra caratterizzare i rapporti tra Noel e Liam. In effetti, nel giro di un’ora dall’averli conosciuti, i fratelli Gallagher si studiavano con un’aria decisamente bellicosa. La discussione sul pollo e le patatine si trasformò presto in una lite, in una rissa, fino a raggiungere il punto di un vero e proprio scontro con tanto di urli. Non so più quale fosse il motivo: credo il ritorno a un precedente dibattito Gallagher vs Gallagher sulla validità di Lennon nel 1994 [Forte Crest Hotel, aprile 1994]. Una cosa era certa, il volume era l’unica valuta che avesse una qualche importanza. Liam gridava perché per lui quell’argomento era estremamente importante; Noel gridava perché Liam gridava. Quelli che erano intorno si limitavano a scuotere le teste, ridacchiare e chiedere ancora un po’ di quel tè dolce e forte. Lo spettacolo finì con l’uscita di scena di un Liam che sembrava il Diavolo tasmaniano di Bugs Bunny, con l’unica differenza di essere vestito un po’ meglio.

depressed Zlatan back to Milan. Barcelona angry with the fox and Berlusconi strategy. Inter buying Mickey Mouse ^_^

BARCELONA - Today in the afternoon at 4:30pm Ibrahimovic will sign for AC Milan (here's another of the gestures he addressed to his ex Inter). His agent, "the fox" Raiola, spoke bad about Barcelona manager Guardiola, and asked too much money as prize ("super" golden handshake) from Barcelona. So they got angry and his strategy has been an Australian boomerang :) against the agent, now receving less money. Raiola (also Man City's Balotelli agent) is a South Italy origins man, then lived as emigrant in Holland, he doesn't speak Italian so well. At first I thought he was Argentinian. But when it's about money, he's very smart... His behaviour has been a risk for Ibra transfer. Now Milan are not buying him but it's a loan, with Milan buying him next year.
Do you remember when Berlusconi recently said he wasn't sure Ibra would have a good character for Milan team: that was a strategy, to see the reaction of the player. Then Ibra called him. A perfect strategy, confirming that Milan were already thinking about Ibra.
Usually Ibra scored many goals in all the championships, thanks to his goals he won everywhere since 2004 (and also before, in 2002), but not many goal in Champions League. He wants to change this, and also win the Golden Ball, so he's coming to the best team in history, to see if it's possible. This is the transfer of the year in the world of football.

Mario facing racist Juventus fans again

MANCHESTER - Another article by Shaun Cunts :), of course always putting Italy in a bad light, as English tabloids "journalists" often do, without even knowing everything.

Mario Balotelli faces a new racism nightmare after Manchester City drew Juventus in the Europa League [why being alarmed when nothing happened yet... speaking about this, could make happen something... just ignore that].
City's £22.5million star was racially abused 18 months ago by Juve fans [but not all of them, so why generalizing about their fans].
They chanted "a black Italian does not exist" when he scored for Inter in a 1-1 draw in Turin [not really that, they booed and sang an easy song saying "se saltelli, muore Balotelli", "if you jump, dying Balotelli" rhyming in Italian, to make people jump... they were not racist, they were stupid. 

Worse things happened in other stadiums, often in Rome and South Italy, with violence, not just song words and bad jokes. Of course I'm not saying these are good to do].
The chants were condemned by the Juve chairman and home fans were banned for a match by Italian authorities.
And now Juve have been warned that European football's governing body will be breathing down their necks.
UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino said: "They know our disciplinary bodies are watching.
"There will be sanctions if any racism is used."
Juventus chief executive Blanc said: "A new season is a chance to show new behaviour and that the Juve fans have understood the messages and sanctions handed out.
"Supporting your team is to support your team, and not to make remarks of a racist nature toward other players."
City's football administrator Brian Marwood added: "You have to leave these things in the hands of the authorities.
"I'm sure Mario will deal with it. He's a very confident young man and I'm sure he will be relishing the opportunity of going back to Italy."

Atletico stronger than Inter thieves and comic Busacca-Chewbacca referee. Telecronaca Rai assurda. Inter-Atletico 0-2

MONTECARLO – The invincible Inter became unwatchable. Non-existent, passive champions against a weak team as Atletico Madrid at their first match this season, winning the European Supercup.
The referee Busacca, Swiss, half South-Italian, could ref this game (so confirming Inter is NOT an Italian team), he was hilarious, not giving a clear penalty to Atletico but then giving one to Inter, failed.
Also, he didn’t use yellow cards, only in the last minutes, and tried to help Inter in some ways as during the whole Champion League "won" (stolen) by them, but this time it didn’t work.
Manchester City wanted to buy Atletico’s Aguero time ago, but tonight he didn’t play well, as also his team mate Forlan, totally absent.

L’Inter invincibile è diventata inguardabile. I campionissimi Sneijder, Milito, Maicon e tutti hanno offerto una prestazione quasi inesistente, sbagliando passaggi elementari, rischiando l’impensabile contro una squadra tutto sommato modesta.
L’arbitro, lo svizzero mezzo italiano del canton Ticino, Busacca (la busecca il piatto milanese? no, lui è di origine meridionale), che potendo arbitrare questa partita conferma quindi che l’Inter non è una squadra italiana, non ha fischiato un chiarissimo rigore all’Atletico, e poi lo ha invece dato all’Inter, ovvio, proseguendo la infinita scia di aiuti che hanno permesso all’Inter di vincere finora. Ma il vento sta cambiando e Milito lo ha sbagliato. Non solo: ammonizioni non date, calci d’angolo inesistenti, ecc. quasi tutto a favore dell’Inter, ma stavolta non ha più funzionato. L’uso del cartellino giallo, nelle regole tutte personali di questo curioso arbitro, è possibile solo nei minuti finali. Durante la partita: cascasse il mondo, non va assolutamente utilizzato. Non ha senso, visto che eventuali cartellini gialli pesano nelle partite internazionali.
Telecronaca della Rai assurda quanto l’arbitraggio, spudoratamente di parte come sempre, sfacciatamente interista nei giudizi, tanto è una televisione che paghiamo noi tutti eh… anziché dichiarare l’evidenza di falli non fischiati contro l’Inter, gli interisti Cerqueti e Bagni parlano di “mestiere”… sì, il mestiere che non sanno fare loro.
Ciliegina sulla torta: “Aguero è stato il migliore dell'Atletico”… chissà gli altri! E’ stato penoso, fallendo semplici occasioni e impastandosi quanto suo genero Maradona con certe sostanze. E pensare che il Manchester City tempo fa voleva comprarlo. Forlan del tutto assente. Quindi il telecronista di quale capolavoro della dirigenza madridista parla nel tenere questi due giocatori? Non si riesce a capire contro chi abbia perso l’Inter. E mentre l’Atletico in molte fasi domina la partita contro una passivissima Inter, i telecronisti ci informano che: “Sta giocando meglio l’Inter, vero Bagni?”. “Assolutamente”. Mi chiedo quale partita stavano guardando.
Inter che quindi non riesce a vincere la sua prima Supercoppa, vinta 5 volte dal Milan. L’ultima volta che l’Inter vinse una Coppa dei Campioni (vecchia versione del trofeo e non Champions League), la Supercoppa neanche esisteva.
Allora dai speriamo in un’intervista dal campo ad aiutare la telecronaca, ecco Abete il presidente Figc a rappresentare l’Italia: “l’Atletico è più avanti nella preparazione”… No. Era alla sua prima partita della stagione, non come l’Inter quindi, e tra l’altro ha fatto un precampionato modestissimo, non come l’Inter quindi, che è andata persino in America e ha fatto Trofeo Tim, Supercoppa Italiana e via dicendo.
Capolavoro astrologico-automobilistico finale: l’interista Cerqueti si mette a snocciolare statistiche assurde e insignificanti simili a quelle del telecronista Rai della Formula 1 Gianfranco Mazzoni (che abbiamo appurato è interista), del tipo “le squadre non campioni d’Europa stanno vincendo in continuazione dal 2004 a oggi ma solo negli anni pari” (!). Ah quindi solo 4 volte, molto significativo.
Non potendo quindi i telecronisti aiutarci nella comprensione statistica della partita, ecco che spunta una grafica con le cifre della partita, sì! … Peccato che la schermata sia durata la bellezza di 0.8 decimi di secondo. Forse l'hanno nascosta perchè l’Inter aveva dominato la partita.

Ibra accepts less money to play with Milan. + Man City-Juventus

MONTECARLO - AC Milan still a dream to football stars. Ibra, usually "very careful" about money, never accepting less money but always more and more with his agent "the fox" Raiola, accepted less money to join Ac Milan, the best team in history. This in the pic is one of the gestures he addressed to his ex Inter fans, he made even worse, vulgar ones, very Oasis style :). He used to be very angry with them, so I am and will be delighted when he'll score against them :)
He's gonna come back to Milan tomorrow with Galliani and have his medical. The press conference will be on Sunday before the first Serie A 2010-11 game, Milan-Lecce, but he can't play yet.
Tonight Inter Milan-Atletico Madrid in Montecarlo for the European Supercup, but the big news today are from their rivals Ac Milan, always eclipsing Inter news.

Europa League draw in Montecarlo said: Manchester City-Italian Juventus (!), great match, plus Salzburg and Polish Lech Poznan (will they be able to play football?) in the group. The other English team, Liverpool, had another Italian, Naples.

MANCHESTER - James Milner believes Manchester City's English contingent can outshine the club's foreign legion.
Much is expected from big-money imports such as David Silva, Mario Balotelli and Yaya Toure, etc.
But Milner has highlighted fellow Englishmen Joe Hart, Wayne Bridge, Gareth Barry, Adam Johnson, Shaun Wright-Phillips (who scored tonight) and Micah Richards as the players who can guide City to glory.

They were at the stadium for Manchester City-Liverpool 3-0. Tonight City won again.
The Miss Italy finalist, who was brutally kicked and punched by a girl jealous of her good looks two years ago, stepped out with her boyfriend in Manchester.
The pair went for dinner at the San Carlo restaurant, well-known as the finest Italian eaterie in the city.

Mario is injured, the doctors said, and can't play for 1 week :(, so his first match at home will be Man City vs Blackburn (11 September), but maybe only a few minutes again.

It's a pity 'cause he should play with Italy at the beginning of September, but probably he won't.

Anyway, he's got summat better to do ^_^, play the doctor :)

Kasabian gatecrashed a wedding shortly after their appearance at the V Festival in Chelmsford on Sunday (August 22), according to reports.

Noel Gallagher was the icing on the wedding cake for Zahl and Hajigul Buhari, at a Hertfordshire hotel after the Leicester band headlined V Festival in Essex.

Noel offered to put cash behind the bar for groom Zahl and bride Hajigul but they were delighted just to have him there.
Zahl said: "Noel was a real gent. He posed for photos and Kasabian were extremely complimentary to my bride and congratulated us both. It was the perfect end to the perfect day."

MANCHESTER - Of course I support England 2018 bid, but in some of these points from Manchester Evening News, there are some mistakes. And criticism is always necessary. Besides, some points are weak. LONDON - Four months after their split, it looks like Patsy Kensit's estranged husband Jeremy Healy has moved on already.

Kensit is getting in shape again after piling on the pounds following her marriage breakdown amidst rumours she will appear in the new series of Striclty Come Dancing.

Healy's apparent new girlfriend comes just four months after he and Kensit announced they were splitting up.

The couple had a stormy two and a half year romance. Briefly calling off their wedding in 2008, before reuniting soon after.

They finally made it up the aisle at a civil ceremony in London in April last year.

Earlier this month, the mother-of-two admitted her weight had ballooned and she suffered from depression after the split.

Prior to Healy, she had been married to Big Audio Dynamite's Dan Donovan (88-91), Simple Minds' Jim Kerr (92-96), Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher (97-00).

Premier League fans may have been treated to a remarkable weekend with Chelsea (double 6-0 & 6-0 for Carlo Ancelotti), Arsenal and Newcastle all scoring six but this was the fixture everyone had waited for. City, so long in the shadow of their illustrious neighbours, determined to break the Big Four monopoly and bring Champions League football and trophies to a club that had won nothing for 34 years.
And Liverpool, once the powerhouse of English football.
Though now, in comparison, little more than paupers with debts of £290m, without a buyer and Javier Mascherano as he heads for Barcelona.
And, on this display, a side with as many problems as the club itself.
City now find themselves in the same position as Chelsea six years ago - the side everyone wants to see beaten.
Yet if they continue to play some of the powerful attacking football that made you almost forget another unseasonably wet night they may attract a fan club of their own outside Eastlands.
Liverpool without Mascherano, the suspended Joe Cole and with new signing Christian Poulsen on the bench, it was Steven Gerrard versus the world. Especially with Fernando Torres still firing blanks.
New Anfield boss Roy Hodgson spent the first-half dashing to the touchline with furious instructions to his players and the second deep in thought on the bench.
A great night for City was completed by two goals from Tevez, including a penalty where he showed the two Coles - Joe and Carlton - plus Nani and John Carew how you do it.
As he got up to leave, the visitor from Abu Dhabi may have peered through the rain and spotted the message on the opposite stand.

You bet it does. Well, half of it anyway.
Certainly not the watching Alex Ferguson who must have gone away with much to ponder.

He arrived without trumpet or fanfare 45 minutes before kick-off.
And Manchester City fans loitering around the main Eastlands entrance had to do a double take.
This was football's richest man finally at City nearly two years after he took over the club.
Almost £1billion later and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan had decided to see where his money went.
Arriving with eight friends and a bodyguard, they swept on to the ground's main forecourt in blacked-out Audis (as AC Milan :), having landed late at Manchester Airport from Abu Dhabi on a private jet.
Fans had only seen pictures of him with a beard and in traditional Arab head-dress.
Now an immaculate fresh-faced and expensively-suited young man was on show and a ripple of applause grew as people realised who Monday night's special guest was.
Inside the stadium, the announcement of his arrival sparked a roar usually reserved for a late winner.
Sheikh Mansour is one of 19 children in the world's richest royal family.
Their wealth is estimated at £1trillion thanks to Abu Dhabi striking oil in the 1950s - while his personal fortune is £15billion.
Mansour - a politician and businessman - is a member of the UAE Federal Cabinet and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
He is at the helm of First Gulf Bank and the International Petroleum Investment Company.
While Alex Ferguson describes City's spending as crazy, back home Mansour is thought to be pragmatic, astute and an intellectual.
This is the man who made a £1.4b profit selling an 11 per cent stake in Barclays having only bought it seven months earlier.
On the same day, he spent a mere £12m for Gareth Barry from Aston Villa.
Mansour is also chairman of the Al Jazeera Sports Club and the Emirates Horse Racing Authority.
If he did need a few quid, he could turn to his wife Sheikha Manal bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai.
They have a four-year-old daughter and three-year-old son.
He also has an older son from his other wife Sheikha Alia bint Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed.
The question is why did he decide to buy City?
First Mansour is a football fan and he also wants to put Abu Dhabi on the global map like Dubai.
While Monday night may have been his first visit, a Eastlands regular is close friend and club chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak.
Al Mubarak has run the royal family's investment and development firm Mubadala Development Company for two years.
Mubadala has investments in more than 50 companies worldwide, including a five per cent stake in Ferrari.
Al Mubarak also brought a Formula One Grand Prix to Abu Dhabi.
After Monday's 3-0 win over Liverpool, Mansour chatted with boss Roberto Mancini, captain Carlos Tevez and new-signing Mario Balotelli.
Then the three Audis whisked Mansour and his entourage to the airport.

gossip: Taylor Momsen, Paul Weller and Oasis back in 5 years

LONDON - No it's not about Paul flirting with Taylor, as I was writing about him always dating girls of less than half his age. The American actress Taylor Momsen, also singer of The Pretty Reckless band, spoke on her hope to reunite Oasis brothers Liam and Noel. ‘I am just their biggest fan and I want to support them one day on tour, so I hope they come back,’ the "Make me wanna die" singer said.
ahahaha fucking hell a 17 years old, biggest fan?! 17 years ago I was already their biggest fan and she didn't have her nappies changed yet. Don't make me laugh, I'll give you my autograph ^_^

Grant Nicholas from Feeder says he was in the studio next door to Liam Gallagher last week and described the Manc's new material as much heavier and rockier the Oasis.
He said he's mates with both Liam and Noel and reckons they'll get back together in 5 years.

Not the first one to say this... the first one was me, then Alan McGee.

Other rumours say ("a source said", lol) that The Sand Band, from Liverpool, will be Noel's band for his solo album and tour. And Noel agreed with the Royal Albert Hall to start his tour from there, as for the 2 nights last March. At least him or Liam or Oasis in 5 years should start from where they had to end, Milan. I got a feeling you still owe me :)

During this backstage interview with Absolute Radio's Geoff Lloyd, Paul Weller reveals that he's turned down an MBE. The Modfather looks back at past festivals, including the first V Festival. He tells Geoff that they've changed because people just want to hear the greatest hits.
Weller also explains how he's been hit by loads of thrown objects and even admits to having lost it with members of the public! When asked about his Mercury Prize nomination, Weller tells Geoff that the award normally goes to someone who nobody has ever heard of, so he's doubtful that he'll win.
The Gallagher brothers also get a mention during the interview as Weller has hired Noel Gallagher as his drummer on some new material he's working on! (I knew it was him)
The former Jam star also says that he's visited Liam's shop and was going to be wearing a Pretty Green jacket on stage last night.

Noel can play all sorts of instruments

LONDON - Weller has revealed that he declined the offer of one of the Queen’s honours – branding them “silly”.
The Modfather, 52, joins an ever-increasing list of stars who have snubbed Her Majesty.
Weller, whose lengthy career began in the late Seventies with his mod band The Jam, admitted: “I have turned it down, yeah. About two or three years ago they offered me some silly title but I managed to turn that one down.”
Speaking to Absolute Radio’s Geoff Lloyd, he said of the honours system: “I don’t understand all that.”
The Surrey-born singer’s 10th solo album Wake Up The Nation, which was released earlier this year, has been nominated for next month’s Mercury Music Prize but the grumpy star isn’t dusting his mantelpiece.
“I was very pleasantly surprised, obviously. It’s just nice for the album to get some more recognition really,” he said, before complaining that the award is a bit too niche.
“I wouldn’t have thought [I’ll win it] really because it normally goes to some unknown person doesn’t it?”
Weller also revealed he had been busy keeping the peace between ex-Oasis brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. Being friends with both Liam and Noel, he has found a good way to balance his ties with the feuding pair since Noel, 43, quit Oasis a year ago. He wears Liam’s new clothing range Pretty Green- “I’m going to wear a jacket which they made up for me,”– and has brought Noel in to play drums on a new record. But Weller insisted it’s a favour, not business.
“I haven’t hired him. He came free,” he said. “He’s a great drummer, yeah. He’s a good all-rounder. People don’t realise what a good musician he is. He can play keys, bass, all sorts really, harmonica, electric kettle, all sorts.”
