flashbax: summer 09

hello everybody and merry Christmas again from Oasisblues.
I'm gonna change some things, also in the previous posts.
Let's get back to last summer, difficult to forget for Oasis fans... this is my personal story, I had already written summat, a lil tale to tell...

some other curious pics from cameras and mobile phones
hand similar to Oasis: with big ring :), as Celtic-Irish traditions
Our Lady "la Madonnina", Milan symbol and appearing also in "Stop crying your heart out" video. She has blue-white City colours :). We have her in our garden, built a cave and put her inside, at night we turn on the light.

English rose
in my countryhouse I have a lot of flowers and roses of all colours
"bag it up" :) with Oasis fringe hairstyle www.yuliyamodel.blogspot.com
I had everything ready... even the white trousers of 1964 mod summer :) ...it was a so big emotion... historic event... I was so happy, Oasis chose my city...
"gold and silver and sunshine"... we had gold in our hands: the last concert ever...
...BUT... there's always a but... In this case: a butterfly... a bloody butterfly coming from fuckin' france, Paris...
in those days, while I was sunbathing, I found a butterfly flying to me, one with the same colours of that one on the cover of Dig out your soul...that with the atom bomb... what a sign... it wanted to tell me summat...
now there's a t-shirt, it costs not 18 but 9 €, it's for girls, but I'm gonna buy it cos this is history.
You can find it clicking here

this butterfly is called "Vanessa io" (Inachis io) or "Peacock eye". And the name comes from Greek Juno priestess, for its legendary beauty
it has Milan concert as last one

And the same afternoon when Oasis split up, a yellow-black ladybird flew to one of my "Liam" sideburns... I beat it, then I was so sorry 'cause I saw it was a ladybird, that is a sign of luck... after some minutes I was keeping her (not it, she's a lady :) on my hand, she wasn't moving at all, I threw it on the grass, I was surprised cos she wasn't dead as I thought... all this then happened with Oasis... almost dead but not dead...

this was on the newspaper: record courgette :) ...it looks like summat of myself ihihihi...
...I meant the sideburn !! what did you think....... ^_^

do you remember Quadrophenia bed... and Liam's leopard shoes...
...I have it too :). When I received the news of the end of Oasis from Alan McGee, the man who discovered them (The Man), I was on the bed, at night about 11 pm on 28 August.

"calcio balilla", fascist ahaha ...the good old things

these posters announcing Oasis last concert were in piazza della Scala square in Milan, the place of the most famous theatre in the world, La Scala. In the square there's a Leonardo Da Vinci statue.
Oasis at the opera, why not ?
I got a feeling you still owe me...
that palace is not La Scala, it's a bank and the other one is the mayor's palace
this photo is from last winter, announcing Oasis in Milan (2 February, with Beckham, my last Oasis gig in Milan, then another one in Italy and one in Switzerland). In the bigger photo you can see "the long and winding road"... and all the roads we have to walk are winding...
