Oasis are not so popular in Turin (in fact they never went there in 15 years career, they don't seem interested in Del Piero ehehe), though Manchester City have often references to Torino football team ('cause they're "the teams of the city"), but if confirmed it'll surely attract thousands of people, from other cities too, as usual.
Noel often speaks about Turin during their gigs, 'cause the man playing keyboards, Jay Darlington (from his former band Kula Shaker), "The Shroud", resembles Jesus Christ (and Noel says also Gandalf from Lord of Rings ahahaha) and Sacra Sindone shroud is in Turin.
Oasis had to take one as Jay as a member of their band, 'cause both Oasis and Beatles at the times said they're "more famous than Jesus"...
Rumours say maybe 4 July, Independence Day :), though Traffic Festival is from 8 to 11, so all is unofficial by now.
